To make life easier for your parents would also suggest looking at QR to SGN to avoid having to go through Singapore - you won’t be able to use the companion voucher but it’s only 300k avios for two vs 220k I think on BA with the voucher.
That's a good idea. I'll ask them, thanks. However, they're keen to bundle Singapore into the same trip anyway so will likely stay for 3/4 nights before going onto Vietnam. Also seems dumb to not use the voucher, I think they'll run out of avios as they have 2 vouchers to use!
