AF23 from LAX arriving CDG Terminal 2E (based on past flights) 11:15am (can't figure which arriving gate) ---> AF 1184 to TUN out of Terminal 2F.

Originally I booked a 3-hour connection but it got changed into 90 minutes. The only other flight to TUN is almost 8 hours later at 8:55pm.

Stressed about the short connection. Looks like going through immigration is necessary? But I'm arriving from a non-schengen country and flying into a non-schengen country. Confusing.
Any suggestion? Also if I have a checked bag, is it "doomed" (as in unlikely to make the flight)?
