Hopefully things are turning around and WN will become more competitive with amenities and better loyalty rewards.
Amenities? Maybe Southwest never should have played in the sandbox of longer flights to Hawaii, Cancun, etc. where customers "expect more amenities / food" in the first place...

Maybe Southwest needed to stick to short haul US flights and having more and more of them... instead of cutting a lot of the short haul flights between secondary airports to do these longer haul ones...
