I thought space was pretty similar to the XM config, which given the size of the cabin makes sense, and the seat is certainly much nicer than the XM J seat. I'm not old enough to remember pre-XM ;-)

Do what I did and show off to the people around you by bringing up the tail camera. Nobody seems to know it is there and I got a whole bunch of "wait how did you do that?!?" questions when I have brought it up on the screen on the refurbed A321s.
