Thank you for informing us of this incident. I checked the access rules on the DB website, which state that 1st class Saver fare and super saver fare are excluded from lounge access, which is probably why the Lounge staff denied you access. However, I took a closer look into the terms and conditions of the DB lounge and they state:

You are entitled to access the DB Lounge:
1) with a 1st class long-distance ticket in the Flexpreis tariff
....
6) as a customer of a DB cooperation partner with Lufthansa ExpressRail or Swiss Air Rail boarding pass
So the information that is provided on our website is correct, and you should have gained access with an express rail ticket. I am sorry for the inconvenience and would urge you to voice your complaint to our colleagues from Customer Relations via: www.lufthansa.com/de/en/feedback.
