Sorry for digging up an old thread. I booked an award for family and they called in to add a lap infant (can't be done online for awards). The price has gone down, and with a normal reservation I modify it and receive points back with the PNR unchanged.

Will modifying a reservation remove the lap infant so they must either call again or do it at the airport? Thanks.
