Booked to fly LH471 from YYZ to FRA in the new year and woke up to an email saying my seat was changed. Assumed it was an equipment swap and noticed they changed from the 747-400 to an A340-300. I'm aware both are scheduled to be decommissioned, but was pretty excited to fly the upper deck of the 747 and don't think I'll ever get another chance. Are there any upsides/downsides I should be aware of? Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum, new here. Thank you.
