sure I can understand if you have the resources and are flying internationally, but I just don’t see the value of doing so domestically.
I used to have the same perspective as you when I was younger; after gaining more experience and seeing the world, I have to say - there are truly people who have such financial means that it is mind boggling. For those, the cost of a domestic F ticket would be the same as us buying something from the dollar store. Yes, one could say - "why not fly private jet" but sometimes, chartering a jet is actually more of a hassle than just hopping on a last-minute commercial route and going. This is just like why those millionaires/billionaires in New York City sometimes take the subway - simply because it's faster, not because they're trying to save a buck or two. Time = money, after all.
