I just booked a multi-city award MXP-MCT, MCT-DXB in business class using Alaska Airlines miles.
Oman Air does show the booking with AS ticket number. However there is not anywhere one can choose seat assignment. No such button shown online.
I also could not add Contact Info i.e. phone number despite the site said this info is missing and urged me to add - yet no matter how the phone number is presented, I got an error, despite the dropped down menu has United States +1 in the Prefix box... The site told me to call Oman's head quarter customer service (968 country code)
Both areas where it is used to Add Contact produced an error.
Moreover, the baggage notation on both segment show this jumbled language -

I cannot interpret the actual meaning of such - does it mean no extra outside the normally allowed or Nothing instead?!
Oman's baggage allowances show 2 handcarry pcs upto 7kg and 1 checked bag up to 50kg on ALL types of business class fares, Business Studio, Business Light, Business Prme. The allowances are identical, on both First and Business, Hand Carry and Checked bag.

I did find the Contact Us page, ALL so-called US offices use the SAME email address and SAME 201 telephone number. Guess need to call them to find out more info.

I live in New Zealand and with regards to a local contact number and email address, I too had trouble initially.
I have a paid ticket booked directly on WY website and wanted to add my AC Aeroplan FF # and the website & the app kept erroring when I tried to add it.
After a bit of googling I found another website that listed the local contact info for those based in NZ (
https://services.omanair.com/au/en/global-contact) which is not available when I go to
https://www.omanair.com/en/contact-us.
I initially called the local number and there was an automated message to say that they were too busy and to leave a message - I didn't bother. I emailed the "local" Oman Air office which was listed on the same webpage above. They initially rejected my request stating that AC is not a mileage earning partner for WY. I had to send supporting screenshots from the WY website and also the relevant section from AC's website and 2 days later, they added this to my booking and it now shows my Aeroplan number when I go to my booking page.
For the seat assignment, when you go to Manage Booking on the website or the app, you need to click on Extras - Add - Trip Option and then select Add Seats, so this is not obvious when you are on the Manage Booking page. But if that fails, then I suggest emailing your nearest WY office. At least in my experience, they were responsive.
