Just bought a ticket for early December EWR-GVA/ZRH-EWR and used miles to upgrade. Probably been living under a rock but I don't remember paying approx $1K upgrade surcharge RT and used 20k miles each way to upgrade. Luckily I got upgraded but my $1200 ticket became $2200. I will go to the Polaris Lounge to eat at EWR and then hit up Sprungli to self cater my lunch in ZRH lol......
