Calling now (7:30AM Eastern US time) and I was able to get through and speak to an agent. About a 2 minute wait.
I was able to secure a seat assignment, but was told that only when the ticket is EVA issued can you choose a meal in advance.
Very disappointing, if correct. Anyone have experience / knowledge of this?
