My guess is that HA elites will have the same flight and baggage benefits as a regular AS elite in which case they will be far better off flying AS metal on mainland -HA flights unless they want to chance an upgrade with any certificate they might have. Beyond the free bags and a free upgrade on a 30 min interisland flight, I don't see many AS elites like myself wanting to take their newly acquired HA status for a test run anytime soon.
