With all the integration tasks on AS' plate, it doesn't make sense (to me) to dedicate resources to one-off status matches, especially when global matching will be automated in a couple weeks. YMMV.
The resources are already in place at HA to do status matches for all those who request it, so it is not dedicated to "one-off status match". I did not realize that automated system was in the works until I posted to this thread. Since I received a request for more information from HA, I obliged. But I didn't think it would be this involved given that HA and AS are now one company. It should be enough that I provide AS MVP Gold 100K card and my status page of my account to complete the match.
