I don't think latitude comp ups apply to your flight (AC1), it only applies to domestic & TB bookings with latitude flight pass.

Your estimate was actually pretty good. AFAIK assuming you are talking about AC1 on the 28th, it's currently at 27/40. It's a wide open flight and I think you would get a good chance at the gate if not pre-cleared.
