It is as this point that I would reveal I know (well most of) the aria Vesti la Giubba from Pagliacci and would it be ok if I used it to warm up my pipes, perhaps directly next to him? Whatever is to be said about my operatic skills, I can really nail the dismount: "Riiiiiiiiidi, Pagliacciiiiiiioooooo! Sul tuo amore infrantooooo! Ridi del duol, che t'avvelena il cor!" For that guy? I would LEAN into it. No lie.
