You can certainly ask, but most of the upgrade is processed (pre-assigned) ahead of time. You can pull up your reservations on the app and see what room they assigned you. The most likely upgrade is an ocean view room, which is pretty distant.
I don't see the room type on the app right now. Did you mean that is something I can see closer to the check in date?

okay good to know. How does it work then? Go to the restaurant for breakfast and have the bill charged to my room? Then if I have left over, go to Madeline and charge to my room? And finally, at check out I should confirm they credited me the $140 per day? My wife and I usually have like a bagel for breakfast. The kids like to try things, so they will be the ones to watch out for lol
