A surprise to see I can call EVA at 10:30pm California time to talk to an agent. The following is the website update:

- Hours of operation: Chinese and English 24hours/daily
MON ~ SUN & U.S. Holiday: 05:30 - 17:30 (Pacific Time)
Outside of the above hours, service is provided in Chinese and English by the Global Call Center.
I just tried the number and it was a recording that said all agents are busy and to try again later.
Trying to get a seat assignment.
