There are. You can try Novotel Benoa in Bali. I was there last time in the spring 2023, not many guests. Quite beach. One time some backpackers did come there, the guard just told them to go. Compared to Kuta and some other beaches in Bali, this one is actually quiet. Kuta is a hell imo, would never stay there or on other similar places.

The standard is average 4 star, not great, but not that bad. You get what you pay for. I did swim every day in the sea. Of course, the low tide is a factor to count on, but why swim when it is the lowest tide?

I was there first time about 20 years ago, since then they had to strengthen the beachfront because of erosion. Still a decent resort for relaxing, plenty of local restaurants to eat at some minutes walking away. I would choose a room not too close to the restaurant and not close to the village on the other side of the street, some barking dogs there. A Villa is likely not that expensive there, should be a fine stay.
