A bit confusing for me. Nothing really wrong with this seat, but there was nothing really wrong (and is still the case) with the old F, and the airline still introduced an aspirational F seat. Kind of what world class airlines are expected to do.

Maybe there’s a grand strategy that has been upended by the 777X delay.

Also, a mate is at the event today and he’s been told that none of the 65 A350s will have F. First 15 deliveries will have larger capacity, and the rest less seats to account for crew rest areas, but none with F.
