Its a one and done for us; we are in their premium ocean bungalow with AC and doing a week long stay; but can’t imagine being here without AC as the afternoons are getting pretty hot, even during winter season.

Service is okay; some hit and miss. We have an awesome bellmen who took care of us; but they are over worked for the amount of visitor.

Food is fair to good; the best dish is the sautéed shrimp, and beats any Oahu Shrimp Trucks….breakfast is meh.

Rooms are a blast from the past….reminds me of a slightly better version of the government Volcano National Park lodges with the same browns….definitely agree with the slightly spruced up summer camp feel, but not luxury.
A whole week...lol... the food is the main reason why I couldn't do it but to be fair, I'm picky about food, I just came back from a week from PH Maldives and the food is so average... haha.. I ate at that Thai food truck twice a day and I was only there for 2 nights. Try the tacos too, I'm from SoCal and I know tacos and it's decent. Agreed about the bellman, we might have had the same guy, he was great. I guess if you have a car and you can drive around and hit up every spot in the area, you can fill up a week.
