Back to the PHV for 2 nights. Like last week I had booked a standard room and used a SUA to get upgraded to a King Suite but had the good surprise at check in to get a nontuple upgrade to a 120 sqm Ambassador Suite (it’s not the first time I had already been in 2017 and 2019 but it was only for 1 night).
Large entrance with no minibar but a “private cellar” with 4 great bottles of Champagne including Krug, some top Burgundy and Bordeaux and a very nice “Park Hyatt Paris” chess board:
Massive living room and dining room with three large sofas, 2 coffe tables, 2 armchairs, dinning table for 4, plenty of nice artefacts and 10 full bottles of alcohol!
Obviously large bedroom (in fact larger than a standard King Suite) with a semi separate office and walking closet leading to the bathroom and 3 toilets:
Same welcome gift as usual unfortunately (simple but nice Chablis) with 3 macarons instead of the usual mixed nuts/dried fruits:
I will definitely be back (already a few stays booked in 2025) but almost regret to have booked the Hotel du Louvre in December ;-)
