Anyone stayed here and can report ?
Been there and in my opinion it`s a very mixed bag.
Hardware is brand new as the Hotel opened this year. Location is also fine near the Market and not far from Rossio by feet.
The pro:
One drink voucher per guest.
A small portwine as a welcome in the room.
The downs:
Too expensive with rates above 200 Euro.
Could not check-in bevor 3pm as a Diamond (asked at 2pm) although there have been plenty of free rooms. Got a standard upgrade.
Rooms are small; there is a problem with the space just from two hand luggages.
The worst is the breakfast: Yeah, I know people from the US will love it instead of a food credit. But we are in Europe. This Curio, which should be luxury, offers just fried or scrambled eggs to order: no bacon, no sausage, no hashbrowns, no beans - nearly no hot selection and the cold one is also limited like the space in the breakfast room. And of course no sparkling wine like other Curio Hotels in Europe, which again would be a party of luxury.
If you ask me: Take a Emerald House or try one of the many SLH in Lisboa.
It`s not that bad, but to expensive for the perfomance!
