’Game Changer’ is the description Emirates has used for the First class suite in their last 9 77W’s.
At the same time, they installed refreshed J and Y cabins. And subsequently they have installed PE on these 9 frames.
There are no A380 ‘GC’ frames. And the non GC 77W frames that are currently being retrofitted with PE are not getting GC First class suites either.
To be honest, why they ever installed this product on 9 frames (if they were not going to retrofit it) is a bit of a mystery to me, probably only as an advertising gimmick.
Somehow there were videos or at least the fleet that refer Gamechanger Economy as Economy Class seats with 4th generation ICE & basically a faux wood tray table in Y and larger screens but no remote control. I was curious if the 4th generation ICE and also the A350’s and refitted 77W (besides EPV-EQG) will have the same seats as EQH-EQP?
