fedor I’ve just flown to Abu Dhabi and the lady asked if she could get me a drink. Normally I would have had alcohol but it was early so I asked for water and she brought a medium bottle. Once a few years ago the attendant offered to get me a paper cup of Champagne from business class and I accepted. I think those days are gone but I wait with anticipation to see how many replies you get.
I forgot to say that on the second flight another gold member who was sitting across from me was recognised but I wasn’t. Whether they knew that had happened on the first flight I don’t know but the other guy got nothing but a thank you.
