The outstations also need to be ready for the B789, LHT usually makes sure the line staff there knows how to service a B789.
Well they already have the non-Allegris 787s (ex..PR?) so that shouldn't be too bad.

Out of interest: if LH undertake some cabin modifications themselves, why would they not start with that while the planes sit idle now?
I would expect they are not allowed to work on aircraft that had not been cleared for delivery.
