This is extremely sad news.
Whenever I visited Tokyo and stayed at the ANA InteContinental Tokyo, my lunch at Pierre Gagnaire's was a delight, not only for the exquisite cuisine, but also for the elegant atmosphere, the quality of service provided by a remarkable maître d' (French, of course) and the view.
