!! WARNING !! This is an (almost) on topic post
The other day I was in the last row of a 737 SAN-PHX.
Just as the FC F/A passed out the mixed nuts to my row, a coach F/A made an announcement along the lines of "if you like those small Frito bags we're passing out then please let us know because we've heard AA wants to eliminate them".
I was already thinking that there used to be a snack basket on short flights and now thinking "wait, they get Fritos in the back ???"
Yea, mixed nuts is a better snack than Fritos, but man do they get old. Not to mention that my last few packets of nuts have been stale.
On the FC F/A's next pass, the guy across the aisle asked "you have Fritos ?"
She went to the back, gave him and his seat mate a bag then asked me if I wanted some. She the worked her way back to front and EVERY F/C passenger took a bag.
Would a snack basket really be hard for AA to do even on <500 mile flights
