How to use HKTaxi app without a HK phone number
I tried using the HKTaxi app and then ran into a brick wall when it required a phone number. Tried putting in my US phone number but app said it was invalid. Ended up having to use Uber at probably higher prices.

Next journey would be from Peak Tram to the Big Buddha temple. Is there a taxi stand I can just wait at and will they understand “big Buddha temple?”

Seems to be a 2 hour journey by MRT vs 1 hour by taxi, and I have more money than time right now; just one day.
