Posting in this thread rather than creating a new one with a related question.

In order to upgrade, must Aer Lingus issue the ticket? Or can it be a British Airways ticket? I am being forced to buy economy for a business trip and our travel system (Concur) will not display Aer Lingus at all. I would have to purchase it as a BA ticket. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
