Must really benefit AC in some way. Anyone know?

Easy for us out of Calgary as we don't have through flights to OZ.
AC850 YYC-LHR-DEL is new and follows the same pattern as AC33, and we don't know if it is affected. YYC-LHR is probably as hard to upgrade as usual, likely easier than LHR-DEL, and vice versa of course on AC851.

Does anyone know why AC does this? Is it due to airport ops, crew requirements, or some other reasons?
