Currently in the C satellite Golden Lounge. As per usual, on check in was given a Plaza Premium voucher, but I'm a bit of a princess so headed here to Golden. At the lounge desk, they guided me right, not left as normal, to what I believe is the first dining room. It's fab. The staff are wonderful (and know I'm on QR) and there are few of us in here. Is it because I'm QR Gold or are they just making use of their facilities? I will not complain!
I love the quieter atmosphere & the apron view. Decent wine, delicious food cooked to order (I had really good mushroom risotto as I'm veg, but they have a whole Deepavali special menu plus lots of fancy meat/fish)
Desserts include bread & butter pudding and a chocolate cake, but I've had the Deepavali special kesari (semolina with saffron) which is also beautifully plated.
