One of the best changes in US airport terminals over the past decade+ has been the removal of TVs from most gate areas.
I remember the days of waiting out a delayed flight in the gate area… listing to the same loop of Headline News or whatever they used to play, over and over again…
Right, the CNN Airport Network! I forgot about that. It was its own thing, not quite Headline News. Thankfully Covid killed it.
