You can quibble about exact definitions, but it’s still true that even from west coast cities literally on the Pacific coast, it takes quite a lot less time to fly to JFK than it does to fly JFK-LHR.

Given that, what’s your own experience of coast-to-coast flying domestically in the USA? Any tips?
