There is no solid divider between the two cabins, just a curtain and the first row of Y is preferred as there is extra legroom. I’m not sure if they are available for pre booking to non-SA Platinum/gold members though.
If it’s an afternoon / early evening flight to Cape Town just know that on the right hand side of the plane will have quite a lot of sun coming into the cabin although the views of the mountain and city area are better from the right regardless of whether it’s a northerly or southerly landing.
OP says business class (which you can't see if you're on your mobile). Thats 2-2 seating on the A320.
Row 1, bulkhead with more legroom, is sometimes blocked, but I've managed to get it other times as *G. That said the other rows in business have good legroom too.
