You know what is funny is I am actually a little annoyed by the "early" service for selfish reasons. I feel like the flight goes slower when they do an early service. For instance I am on a 2 hour flight. They do service immediately and wrap it up and there is still well over an hour of flying time left. Whereas if they did this thing where they delayed service for 30 minutes into the flight, then by the time service finished, there would be less than an hour left in the flight. That less than an hour left scenario makes me feel like the flight goes faster.
