I pretty much accept that I won't sleep on the plane much, and plan on finding a place to sleep upon arrival. From west coast to east coast, I'm usually heading home, so I plan on getting home ASAP and sleep. When going to Europe, I sometimes make a layover in AMS and pay for a day room in the airport hotel, or, pay for a cabin/bed in the KLM lounge
