This has always bugged me, but especially now when the US is so divided, I wonder why some properties put partisan TV channels on the sets in lounges and dining areas. I don’t want to get into politics talk, but choosing any station with a pronounced lean towards either side seems to me might make a significant percentage of the visitors uncomfortable.

I think it stinks that this is the case, but it’s not like folks are riveted to the sets to get THE NEWS, as your room has a TV where you can catch up with channels you like. Maybe these sets could be tuned to Weather or Sports channels which might be less offputting to some guests?
