Looking at bidding for an upgrade from AUH to CMB, which is a 4 1/2 hour flight. Presently the lowest offer I can bid is €382 and underneath it says per passenger (*2)-does this mean €382 each or for the two of us? Have attached an image to explain more clearly. Furthermore, should the bid be successful , is the money taken straight away or can you change your mind at any point and have a refund on the bid upgrade? Furthermore, I have read in some forums that people are suggesting it’s cheaper to ask for an upgrade at the airport-in people’s experience is this correct? I don’t have any status with Etihad yet as my status is with British Airways, so that won’t help.
