Had a DCA-EWR-DEL flight where DCA-EWR was supposed to leave at 4 pm, had us in the plane on the runway until 7 pm and finally returned to gate and was canceled a little before 8 pm.

Given that EWR-DEL only operates once a day, I spoke with the airport agent to get me on a 10 pm IAD-FRA-DEL, and the only reasonable option to get to IAD from DCA on time was an expensive Uber.

Is the Uber reimbursable?
