Speaking of Delta technology, I'm currently at LAX, and on the Delta app and Delta's T3 departure board, it's showing my AM/DL codeshare flight departing at gate 135 at TBIT. There is not an actual plane parked at 135. In reality the plane is at gate 131, and Delta's app didn't event update my seat swap. Still did not update after I boarded and door closed.
No doubt that Delta and nearly every company with a marketing group likes to tie onto the buzzwords. I think the major companies (like Delta) do fact checking to assure that they are not lying, however, telling a story that highlights the hot items (like AI) even when they are a tiny piece of the product happens all the time and the story gets completely twisted. This is another way of saying -- this thread might be way too deep into trying to understand what's meant by AI....
