My understanding is that the reference to "old" pricing is only with respect to Avios values. (And also that this is supposdely a "temporary" measure for GGL).
MIA one way is 90,000 or 100,000 + £237.5 (off-peak/peak). It used to be 62,500 or 75,000.
So essentially with a GUF2, assuming peak time return for 2 pax, you would pay 300k Avios return instead of 400k.
