Currently on NZ121 to Melbourne. Managed to get 2A Business Preferred seat T-48hr and also checked into that seat but upon checking this morning, I got downgraded back to normal J seat. Got called in lounge and advised it was due to “operational reasons.” Thought seat must be broken or something but can see someone else sitting in it🙄

Currently sitting in 11K and plane definitely is showing wear and tear but I still think it’s a better seat than current Air NZ J seats.

Also, IFE not working. Called someone over and they said it’s booting up (see picture). It’s been doing this for over 40mins smh.
