YYZ-EWR is over 300 miles, (roughly 350)
YYZ-DFW is 1,200 miles
I have not heard the country issue but the fare rules for the ticket may not include a USA origin (even though there is a UA connection)
You can try now but you are asking for multiple exceptions.
the supervisor actually said 200 miles because my original itinerary was YYZ-BOM direct with air Canada.. but united doesn’t fly to BOM so they could only give me DEL but he said it was over 200 miles so he needed to get more permission to make that change.. if EWR is like 350, I doubt they’ll bother to change it unless I have a really strong excuse right?
They’d rather not save money by letting me fly directly from EWR tho?
