Never been to CitizenM, cant tell you about them. However I've heard great things.

I normally get up about 4am and go for a walk from Sheraton/ Hilton, drop bags at KLM SKYPRIORITY counter (can do after 4am for any KL handled flight (including DL) that same day), walk back and go to sleep again till whatever need to head to security for flight.
Note that most of the walk to Citizen M is under a roof, so you don't get very wet if it's raining.

It's a trendy "IKEA style" hotel with interesting lobby areas, including a bar, almost a European version of an aloft.
