Yep I have been turned away from the AM garden with a P fare but QR Platinum as I wanted to use the sleep rooms as all were booked at AS. I find it highly unlikely that QR would somehow give OWE members better benefits then their own QR Platinum. I think the AA poster might have been on a AA fare which automatically gives them lounge access. Also could be a rouge lounge attendant who didn't know the rules.
