More substantively, it seemed I had to transfer subway lines for nearly anything I wanted to visit in Fukuoka. Or walk 15 minutes to Hakata Station directly, which I guess isn't the worst thing in the world (especially during this decent Autumn weather).
Not a fan of the property myself, but I thought the location was great. You can completely avoid going to nakasu/red light district for a convenience store. There's a Lawson in Canal City, a FamilyMart (Hakata Gion) 200m walk to the north, and a 7-Eleven 400m to the east.

The lounge was nice, but a bit puzzling why they decided it was worth renovating yet opt not to renovate anything else during the pandemic. Given the rates Ritz Carlton commands now in Fukuoka, GH could've probably charged a substantially higher rate if they renovated the entire property.
