Here’s the menu from last night’s BA274 from LAS to LHR:

I had the butter chicken which was pretty good. I’m actually surprised we got the meal service as there was a lot of severe turbulence for about 90 minutes after takeoff. It was sufficiently bad that the meal service was suspended. Fortunately we did have the drinks run before it got bumpy.

Breakfast was a choice of the full English or an omelette. Foolishly I chose the former which was pretty much inedible.

The egg was rubbery. The hash browns were soggy. The sausage was just bland. The bacon needed the rind rendering a lot more. The fruit cup was literally four pieces of fruit.

I feel really sorry for those who get something along these lines as a brunch offering. It was dire! Our CC remarked she actually had passengers yelling at her over the state of the brunch offering in Club!

Service, however, was excellent. Probably the best in a long while. The IFM stopped by three times to check on us. We were also asked what we’d like as our main meal to ensure our first choice was available. The crew were motivated and engaged.
