Anyone know if BA are indeed planning more A350s? I'd heard in the summer that some were coming from QR, and now there's an advert for an aircraft engineer on the careers page that says more A350s and Dreamliners are coming into the fleet. Surely with their last one entering service in February, it can't just be old copy...
That’s an excellent spot and one can offer up three suggestions - 1. It’s old copy and by A350s they mean the 18 already here. 2. It’s sloppy wording by someone who hasn’t quite grasped what’s going on - possibly because the A350s are already here but BA has only just announced the investment in A350 capability at CWL or 3. Someone has actually let the cat out of the bag (which happened in another transportation business recently) and BA is gearing up for an A350 add on order ….
