Not surprisingly, LH doesn't really care. I wrote...
"...
Despite the wine list advertising Dom Perignon, it was not loaded. Instead, the only champagne on board was a mediocre Canard-Duchene..."
To which I received this dismissive canned reply...
"Thank you very much for your email regarding your recent flight experience. It is very important to us that you enjoy every trip with us. This also includes that you get your favorite drink on board. We are sorry that this was not the case. We offer our sincere apologies, especially considering that this was placed on the menu but not onboard. We appreciate your message as it allows us to address these issues with the responsible individuals from our onboard service team. There may always be situations in which an unusually large number of guests request the same beverage.
But as a rule, our general beverage selection should meet your expectations. You are absolutely right. Our cabin crew would be delighted to serve you your beverage of choice again soon. We therefore very much hope to be able to continue welcoming you on board Lufthansa.
Sincerely,"
I'm back on DEN-FRA in a couple of weeks but only because cheap 115K M&M seats were available.
