Delta hotel, Warwick, UK (temporary closure from Nov'24) [Master Thread]
Last week I was scheduled to stay at the Delta, Warwick (previously a Doubletree)... my usual app-checkin wouldn't work, but that's not unusual...
I arrived at ~18:00 and the check-in desk couldn't find my reservation... they found this week's one, but informed me "Oh, we'll be cancelling that anyway" - it seems it's closing at very short notice.
This morning, I've received notification that two bookings in January and February have been cancelled too...
This is disappointing, as this hotel is very convenient for M40 travellers...
Edit: local news reports suggests that this hotel is now on, ahem, a Government contract.
